Engineers Camp.

This blog is dead ttm! AHHH!
So I came here to update la duhhh.
so today, me, WenHui, Noppadol, Bryan and Hairul came back from Engineers camp!
It was quite okay. The third day was a hell lot of fun!
Basically, we went to Seletar Camp, home of the 35SCE Battalion...err..nvm..just to summarise it, its the home of the Bridging Engineers.
We get to pilot an assault boat and use a mine detector. We also did build a "bridge" ( LOL! ) to somehow test our teamwork.
Basically, my platoon ( fyi Im Haziq ) were the best in the Skill Challenge on the 3rd day! Huhuhuhu.
You can ask us anytime, anything if you want to. Hehehe.

And not forgetting the good or should I say " i dont care that much " news, Wenhui got Platoon Best in Engineers Camp! LOL. USM SIOLLL!
Wenhui and Bryan ( if bryan nvr back out laa. LOL ) will be going for camp pinnacle next week for 5 days. Loserrrrs! :D Enjoy yout time there.

now we've got our own post, we are thrusted with loads of responsibilty.

anw, i hope no one is disappointed over ur post. it is okay to be sad...its natural. but after falling, u should strive again and do a good job in ur given post.

many thanks to our part D for their hard work and endless contributions to the unit. they have groomed us from immature kids into cadets and then into true leaders =D
special thanks to Staff Hong Wei and APC Jun Wei who have spendidly did their jobs into developing our characteristics and potential. they have sacrificed for us time and again just to make us a successful part. and we did it =)
but now, they have passed out. but we are not alone. their support is still with us...make them proud!

Heyyo guys!
How's 4 weeks of term 3 without ncc? Haha. Anyway tmr got training alrdy lei! Happy or not? But also quite short ._.
Hmm anyway, better come horh. Or else! :D
Hope around 30plus come :O I will be happy !
Fyi, the training at most should last around 1h30min. Not including AAR though.

Hi everyone! How's everybody? One more day and our holiday is gone.. Fast yea?

We are taking over in like 1 week or 2? How are you all feeling? Nervous? Scare? Happy? Sad? Like what hairul said, the post ain't important. What's most important is that the friendship bonds that we have created for the past 3 years. No matter what post you are going to get, please don't be sad. I really hope that all of us will remain as brothers/friends in our whole NCC life in Fuhua. I know it's easier said than done, but all these are from the bottom of my heart.. I just hope that you guys understand..
Truthfully, I really enjoyed this 3 years with you guys.. Looking at the picture in this blog, I really feel the sense of belonging in NCC. I feel really proud being a member of Fuhua NCC and I am really honored to have known you guys. I mean it.

how was ur holidays with 2 weeks of it gone? lots of ncc events uh...tiring sia =x GEAR UP..this kind of thing is expected lah. as leaders, we need to sacrifice. haha. and we are taking over the unit soon..in a few weeks time. oh yea..talking about taking over, GOODLUCK for the interview about ur posts on 3rd july! one more thing, pls dun quarrel or fall out of friendships and the brotherhood just because of positions uh. PLEASE! lol. though now so far so good(: make it a friendly competency, not a "die die must get that post".

NCC Specialist Course Phase 3 ended yesterday.
I know some of you are quite sad. But this is how life's like.
People are somehow biased and luck may not be always by your side.
You guys have to move on. Don't stop.
We all know each other for almost 3 years already.
We have sticked together and we all know that each one of us are strong enough to accept this fact.
The most important thing is that you yourself believe that you are always the best infront of us. And we are always the best infront of you.
Failures happen in a person's life. You can't run away from it. You just have to continue standing up.

Anyway, congratulations to all who passed out from Specialist Course.
Besides that, congrats to Bryan for getting Delta Platoon 3 Best,
Haziq for Delta Company Best
And lastly, Hairul for Echo Company Best.

Hohoho! Hello people!
June camp ended like..err 3 days ago?
Well to me, its not a complete success but everyone do make mistakes, yeah?
People like KENNY TAN! Admin 2IC still sleep all the time -.-!
But unexpected people who impressed us..such as Faheem and Muhammad who did their job.
It was just 3 days and 2 nights but it seem long to us.
A camp we all learnt. About people's true nature. And most importantly yourself.
We are still far from completely taking over the company but do not worry! There are friends you can rely on! Hoho.
Let this camp be something we won't ever forget ( Okay Bryan wont forget this after getting burnt =X )
Learn from your past mistakes but that does not mean you can accomplish a perfect success in the future =) Everyone makes mistakes. You just have to accept it.

Anyway Spec Course Phase 3 is coming this Mondayyyyyyy! 1 more day if you I consider now as Sunday :O
OH NO OH NO! Its coming? Excited? Nervous? Scared?
Well don't worry! Coz Im here! -__- Nvm lame joke.
It's your choice whether you want to perform exceptionally well for it or not. Whether you wanna chiong or you just wanna be yourself.
The most important thing is believe in yourself and your 2nd Sergeant Rank will fly to you! Weee!~
I know our Part C can do it! This year is the moment we shall shine! ( So busy until can rust la deyy! )

Hi guys. It's been long since I posted.
Well, there are only 2 more days till the 10th Anniversary and I know everybody's feeling shagged and tired these few days. I feel the same too.
Our June Camp is just few days away and as you all know, our time of preparation is quite short and we've been rushing things. Our 2IC, Hairul, from what I can see, is the most hardworking one and maybe the most stressed one right now.
Today, he organised a meeting for all ICs, 2ICs, PCs and APCs from all departments and I came. You know what, there are only a total of 6 people who came for it, including me and Hairul. I'm pretty upset by the strength and well, maybe its not even called a "strength"! Hairul, spent his time to sms some of you and you guys didn't show up. Maybe, it's my fault for not spreading the message and telling you at the last minute today. I can also understand how tired you really are because I feel the same too. I had lessons in the morning but I still came for it.

It's been around 2 and a half years since we joined NCC. I came into this family not because I wanted to but Mr Teo asked me to choose a UG. Well, thats maybe ahrd to belive and abit crappy. At first, I see NCC as just another CCA and as a Part A cadet at that time, I always had the mindset that NCC is sian, waste of time etc. But as time passes, I develop a greater sense of belonging towards this Fuhua NCC Unit and I had more friends which I consider as trustworthy people. Although I may have had quarrels with some of you and become stressed with the great number of activities appearing, I still think that going to NCC is one of the best ways to enjoy my day, be happy and smile along with you all.

Our Part Ds are leaving soon and I think that their batch has greatly changed us. I really respect our Staff HongWei and 1SG Jun Wei. As you guys know, I have talked bad behind our staff's back and we've already settled things long ago. And now, he is still standing never falling or even trying to start a fight with me or even anyone else. I truly think that he's a great man, a fine young leader who led us along the path to success. Our Part C journey is obviously the busiest year of our whole life in the unit and we've learnt many things from them. They spent their time every Friday morning to teach us things regarding our incoming Specialist Course and this shows how concerned they are. I think that deep down they really care about us and want us to guide the juniors to the right path when we take over.

That is why we must show our gratitude towards them before they pass out. That is why this 3 days 2 nights camp is the gift to them in my opinion. Although we are busy with other things, I feel that we can do it if we believe. Believe that we will shine, soar through the sky and stand at the top. To me, it's quite okay to make mistakes as everyone makes mistakes, even silly ones. We just have to learn from it and try not to make it happen again. But that does not mean that a perfect camp can happen. No matter how hard we work, there's no such thing as perfection. So, never fall if you do mistakes. I really want to make the Part Ds proud and show them the results of their teaching through this one year. I believe that noone from you all would want them to leave just like that, normally.

So, guys, I hope you all understand what I meant. Some people are doing their best to bring a magnificent camp but some of you are not contributing anything and just pushing everything towards your PC or your IC. Even members can help and if they do, that's great. Are the three years living in this family just a piece of crap? Something that didn't benefit any of you all? Bonds are created here and I believe we all trust each other and can cooperate with one another. So lets show that we are one great platoon, one bonded Part C that has been led by great leaders!

Just to update you all about te Freestyle Finals today. The freestyle drills seen were quite good and some were not that great and even if we were in, we would not have won coz schools like Cedar Girls and Anglican High were very good in every aspect.

So the results are:
1st: Cedar Girls
2nd: Anglican High
3rd: River Valley Girls
4th: Jurong West
5th: Pioneer

So training for freestyle competition for next year would probably start after our 10th anniversary and spec course in june and try to perform well during every training so that you can be chosen as the people selected for the competition won't be the same. So goodluck people for the future events although the schedule is quite tight.

And for the drills/IFC/trainfire mutual, if anyone of you do not know what topic you are given, either ask your friends or CLT Colin. The drills mutual would be two weeks from now on the friday training.

1) Logistics - i need your Log schedule and BUDGET $$$ a.s.a.p.
2) Admin - admin schedule is also needed asap. thanks!
3) Games - i need better games from you guys...esp. for icebreaker. FYI, the mini captains' ball tournament has to be changed.

P.S. i need some constructive ideas on icebreaker games. pls contribute some if u can think of any...thanks a lot! btw, for these departments, i need your schedule if possible, by next week. feel free to approach me or bryan if u got any doubts.

first of all, i would like to congratulate all those who have managed to get into G.O.H successfully (clap claps)...for those who didn't, try harder (:

secondly, me n bryan have decided to change the June camp to May camp..this is bcos mr chia does not want it to be too taxing on us in june due to spec course, the dinner thing, GOH n some other events coming up. therefore, we really need ur support and cooperation to make this camp a memorable and the best in history of fuhua! although i know we have a little time constraint.

thirdly, HAPPY holidays! (though i don't think so...with all the HWs) haha.

there will be a meeting on this wednesday, 11 March. meet at the canteen at 2.30pm. it is COMPULSORY for the PCs, APCs, ICs n 2ICs to come for the meeting on wednesday.

Agenda on the coming meeting:
for PCs & APCs:
1) sort out grp members.
2) confirm their grps (Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta etc.)
3) plan of ways to handle "difficult" cadets

for ICs & 2ICs:
1) clarify their roles.
2) planning for games n PT (for games ICs n PTIs)

hi people! so ct is over...did u guys excel or flunked? haha. ok straight to the point...so today was the freestyle drill competition. i'm sad to announce that we lost due to exceeding the time limit. nevertheless, we were proud as we received positive comments n praises that our cheography was the impressive n the most original :D
can i request anyone to upload the video here? if possible..

btw, can u guys make some days free so that we can get the june camp proposal done a.s.a.p. ? lets make this camp the best camp in history! we can do it :D therefore, i need ur utmost cooperation. thanks. PCs pls sort out the cadets into ur individual grps... i will inform u guys when there is a part c meeting...the first one should be next week ba. =)

Tomorrow is the Freestyle Drills Competition!
Lets do our best and if we never win, its okay. Like what Sir Cheemeng said, this is somthing like an experience. Just get to know more about it.
Remember to cut your hair, darken your boots, cut your nails etc. Wear Smart 4 with badges and report at school at 7.15am. Latest 7.30am. Remember all the movements and actions and most importantly, the words leading to the stunts.

Wooots. Just created this blog today and it's still under construction. Well I have not that much to say but why not share the latest news we all know.
